We're looking for an experienced Tool StoreStoreperson to join our team in Toowoomba, QLD, supporting our operations through the efficient management, storage, and distribution of tools, equipment, and materials. This is a Permanent Full time, Monday to Friday role working 38 hours per week.

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Manage inventory and stock movements – Pick, pack, store, and dispatch tools, parts, and materials while maintaining inventory accuracy and achieving performance targets.
n
- Support warehouse operations – Participate in stocktakes, housekeeping, maintenance activities, consumable ordering, and continuous improvement initiatives.
n
- Deliver exceptional customer service – Provide timely and accurate support to internal and external customers, ensuring service expectations are consistently met.
n




- Maintain safety compliance – Contribute to a safe working environment by following all workplace health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
n
- Ensure operational efficiency – Assist in maintaining effective warehouse processes to support workshop and operational requirements.
n
- Protect Hastings Deering's reputation – Ensure tools and materials are delivered safely, accurately, and on time.

What you'll need

n

A successful teammate will have experience in:

n

n
- Warehouse experience – Previous experience working within a high-volume warehouse, tool store, or logistics environment is highly desirable.
n
- Customer focus – Strong customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships across the business.
n
- Computer proficiency – Intermediate computer skills and the ability to work within inventory management systems.
n
- Forklift licence – A current Forklift Licence is advantageous.
n
- Product knowledge – Experience with Caterpillar products, parts, and services will be highly regarded.
n
- Strong organisational skills – Ability to manage competing priorities, work autonomously, and maintain high levels of accuracy.
n
- Team-oriented mindset – Proven ability to work collaboratively while also being self‐motivated and accountable.
n
- Safety focus – Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a Zero Harm workplace culture.
