An exciting opportunity has become available for a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to join a newly built drinks manufacturing site in Rooty Hill. This is your chance to be part of a modern, high-tech facility from day one, working with new equipment and helping shape maintenance standards and processes.

- Monday-Friday roster - no weekends, Afternoon Shift for majority of the year.

The Role
n
You will be responsible for keeping production running smoothly by carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance across the site. This is a hands-on role where your mechanical expertise will directly impact plant performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production equipment
n
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical faults efficiently
n
- Support installation and commissioning of new machinery
n
- Work closely with production to minimise downtime
n
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
n
- Maintain a robust focus on safety and quality
n
n
About You
n
n
- Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter (Fitter & Turner or similar)
n
- Experience in FMCG, food, or beverage manufacturing highly regarded
n
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
n
- Experience with conveyors, pumps, and automated equipment
n
- Reliable, proactive, and a strong team player
n
