Love a role where your day offers plenty of variety
and you are trusted to take ownership of your work? This is an
opportunity to join an established building services organisation
and work alongside a close-knit team with low staff turnover and
the support of a larger national business. You will be involved
across different areas of the operation, from supporting customers
and field technicians through to accounts administration and
keeping jobs moving. You will also have the opportunity to bring
your ideas to the role and identify better ways of doing things,
rather than simply following the way things have always been done.
What will your role involve? Supporting the service team with a
broad range of administration and operational requirements. Helping
field technicians with job administration, scheduling updates,
documentation, work order updates and system requirements.
Processing invoices, purchase orders and assisting with supplier
queries. Supporting Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable,
including billing, account queries and follow-up. Responding to
customer enquiries and keeping them updated on service-related
matters. Working with customers, technicians and internal teams to
resolve operational and billing queries. Keeping job information,
records and documentation accurate and up to date. Assisting with
reporting, data entry and wider branch administration. Managing
your workload and keeping priorities moving within required
timeframes. Identifying opportunities to improve administrative
processes and efficiencies. About you You are likely someone who
likes being organised, takes pride in getting things done properly
and is comfortable dealing with different people throughout your
day. You can manage your own responsibilities while still enjoying
being part of a wider team.
You will also bring: Previous
experience in administration, operations support, service
administration, coordination or a similar role. General accounts
administration experience, including Accounts Payable and/or
Accounts Receivable. Strong customer service and communication
skills. Confidence working with customers, field technicians and
internal stakeholders. Solid attention to detail and the ability
to organise and prioritise your workload. Experience using business
or ERP systems and the ability to pick up new systems quickly. Good
Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel. A
proactive approach and willingness to contribute ideas when you see
a better way of doing something. Experience within building
services, facilities management or another field-service
environment would be helpful, but it is not essential. What can you
expect? A team with stability: Join a close-knit team with low
staff turnover and people who know the business well. A role with
breadth: Gain exposure across service operations, customer support,
technician support and accounts. The freedom to contribute: Your
ideas and suggestions for improving how things are done will be
welcomed. Support when you need it: Have the systems, resources and
wider support of an established national organisation behind you.
Room to develop: Broaden your skills and experience, with
opportunities to continue developing your career within the wider
business. If you are an experienced administrator ready for your
next move, I would like to hear from you. Alternatively, click
