About the Role

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Joiner to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.

The successful applicant will be responsible for manufacturing, assembling and preparing quality cabinetry and joinery products in accordance with drawings, specifications and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

·Read and interpret plans, drawings, specifications and work orders.

·Select, measure, mark and prepare timber, boards and other materials required for joinery work.

·Manufacture, assemble and finish cabinetry and joinery components.

·Prepare components and finished products for installation and fitting.

·Operate woodworking machinery, hand tools and power tools safely and accurately.

·Use appropriate joints, adhesives, fittings and construction techniques.

·Check completed work to ensure required measurements, specifications and quality standards are met.





·Identify and rectify defects or issues during the manufacturing and assembly process.

·Maintain tools, machinery and work areas in a clean and protected condition.

·Follow workplace health and safety requirements and company procedures.

·Work effectively with other members of the production and installation teams to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should have:

·Certificate III in Joinery, Cabinet Making or a relevant trade qualification, with relevant industry experience; or

·Demonstrated practical experience in joinery and cabinetry manufacturing.

·Experience using woodworking machinery, hand tools and power tools.

·Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

·Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

·Good communication and teamwork skills.

·Ability to work independently when required.

·A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
