Cook – Riddells Creek - Vic

Kogan People Solutions is working with a delightful venue nestled in the Macedon Ranges, offering a happy mix of Indian classics (including Tandoor favourites) and Italian inspired options.

With a busy kitchen and a solid focus on consistently high-quality food, the restaurant is looking to strengthen its kitchen team and is now seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join them on a full-time and ongoing basis.

Location – Riddells Creek Vic

Salary - Negotiable in the range $80,000 to $85,000 plus superannuation per annum

Schedule: Rotating roster (Weekdays & Weekends)

Responsibilities of their new Cook will include:

• High standard meals preparation and quality control (checks of raw materials, temperature controls).

• Ensure compliance with the HACCP system regarding food handling procedures by strictly adhering to food safety logs, temperature checks, and hygiene protocols.

• Portion and plate foods in accordance with company policy and procedures.

• Hygienic food storage in refrigerators.

• Training of kitchen staff and apprentices as required.

About you:

• You have a passion for cooking – you want to produce the finest.

• You have a well organised working style – able to cheerfully meet demanding work requirements.





• You can work independently, and as part of a team, and have an excellent communication style.

• You have a passion for the hospitality industry and are up to date on techniques and food trends.

• ·You have an unwavering commitment to flavour and presentation of the highest quality.

To be successfully considered for the role you:

• Possess relevant Certificate IV or agreed substitute.

• Have at least 1 year of relevant work experience since earning your qualifications.

• Are available throughout the working week.

• Offer proven ability to prioritise, set goals and have the determination to achieve them.

• Possess a thorough understanding of food safety and HACCP.

• Have experience working in similar cuisines and similar professional environments.
