We are looking for reliable operators and drivers for a variety of seasonal roles, including:
These roles play a critical part in supporting local growers during the busy harvest season and offer the opportunity to work with modern equipment in a fast-paced agricultural environment.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Depending on the role, duties may include:
- Operating headers to harvest grain crops safely and efficiently.
- Operating chaser bins to transport grain from headers to waiting trucks.
- Transporting grain from paddocks to receival sites and storage facilities.
- Conducting pre-start inspections and basic maintenance on machinery and vehicles.
- Monitoring equipment performance and reporting faults.
- Following harvest schedules and directions from farm managers.
- Maintaining accurate records, load documentation and delivery information.
- Complying with workplace health and safety requirements.
- Working extended hours during peak harvest periods when required.
IS THIS YOU?
- Previous experience operating agricultural machinery or heavy vehicles.
- Robust commitment to safety and safe work practices.
- Reliable and able to work independently.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Physically fit and capable of working in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
- Current driver’s licence and reliable transport.
HIGHLY REGARDED:
- HR, HC or MC Truck Licence (desirable but not essential)
- Previous harvest experience.
- Agricultural machinery operation experience.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
