Hayters Timber and Paving is looking for a reliable, hard-working Yardman / Delivery Driver to join our team. This is a hands-on role where you will be working with Pavers, timber, landscaping supplies, serving tradies, builders, landscapers and DIY customers.

Key responsibilities

- Loading and unloading customer vehicles
n
- Picking and preparing orders
n
- Unloading all deliveries (sometimes by hand)
n
- Driving delivery truck MR
n
- Operating forklifts around the yard
n
- Keeping the yard organised, clean and protected
n
- Helping customers with their purchases
n
- General yard and hardware duties
n

About you

n

n
- Reliable, punctual and physically fit
n
- Comfortable working outside in the heat and cold
n
- Capable of heavy lifting and hand unloading deliveries
n
- Good attitude and works well with the team
n
- Can work independently and get the job done
n
- Takes pride in their work
n
- Current Truck driver's licence MR
n
- Forklift licence preferred
n
- Hardware, building, landscaping or delivery experience is an advantage
