We're looking for aqualified Mechanical Fitterto join a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing facility on a permanent afternoon shift.
n
You'll be responsible for keeping production equipment running reliably, completing preventative maintenance and responding to breakdowns.
n
Your day-to-day will include:
n
n
- Preventative and reactive mechanical maintenance
n
- Fault finding and breakdown repairs
n
- Working on conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, motors and automated machinery
n
- Bearing, belt, chain and seal replacements
n
- Equipment adjustments, servicing and changeovers
n
- Assisting with machinery upgrades and improvements
n
- Completing maintenance records and work orders
n
- Working closely with production and electrical teams
n
- Maintaining high safety and quality standards
n
n
About You
n
n
- Mechanical Fitter trade qualification
n
- Previous manufacturing/production maintenance experience
n
- Strong mechanical fault-finding skills
n
- Hands-on experience with production machinery
n
- Positive understanding of preventative maintenance
n
- Strong safety and quality focus
n
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
n
n
Pharmaceutical, FMCG, food or other highly regulated manufacturing experience is highly regarded.
