Job Description

Your role will be diverse, hands-on and rewarding, with opportunities to gain experience across many areas of general practice and procedural medicine. You will be working in a busy medical practice alongside 12 GPs, specialists and a wide range of allied health professionals, including a gynaecologist, dermatologist and surgeons. Our nursing team is made up of AINs, ENs and RNs, and we pride ourselves on working together as a team while also giving our nurses the opportunity to work independently and build their skills.

Key responsibilities

- Chronic Disease Management including Care Plans, Health Assessments & Diabetes Cycle of Care
n
- ECG's & Spirometry
n
- Assisting doctors with minor surgical procedures
n
- Daily co-ordination of the treatment room, stock control and medical equipment maintenance
n
- Implementing and practicing infection control as per Accreditation Standards
n
- Assisting in skin excision procedures
n
- Vaccinations and immunisations
n
- Wound care and dressings
n
- UV skin treatments
n
- Driving medicals
n
- Mining medicalsLED therapy
n
- Assisting with vasectomies
n

About you

n

n
- Registered/Enrolled Nurse with current AHPRA registration
n




- Experience in general practice is desirable, but we are happy to support the right person
n
- A positive, friendly and team-focused attitude
n
- Ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a team
n
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills
n
- Willingness to learn and take on new experiences

- Someone who genuinely enjoys working with people and being part of a close-knit team
