Care to Care is seeking an experienced, tech-savvy Accountant / Bookkeeper to join our growing Cannon Hill team. This is a hands-on finance role for someone who understands aged care and disability services and wants to make a real difference in a purpose-driven organisation.

Key responsibilities

- Manage invoicing, claims, accounts and finance processes across Aged Care, NDIS, DVA and related programs
n
- Process payroll and apply award interpretation accurately, including SCHADS-related requirements
n
- Support compliance, reporting, payroll tax, long service leave and related obligations
n
- Improve finance systems, reporting, integration and automation with internal teams and software providers
n
- Help leverage best-in-class technology, including AI-enabled tools and smarter workflows
n
- Provide practical finance support to Care Management, Scheduling, Administration and external stakeholders
n

About you

n

n
- Experienced Accountant / Bookkeeper, ideally from aged care, disability, community care or a funded services workplace
n
- Sound knowledge of HCP/Support at Home, NDIS, DVA or similar funding arrangements
n
- Confidence with payroll, modern awards and SCHADS interpretation
n
- Strong computer and finance system skills,



ideally including Xero, Excel and online claiming portals
n
- Tech savvy, curious and confident using systems to improve accuracy, efficiency, integration, automation and reporting
n
- Positive, dynamic, resilient and team-oriented, with ambition to grow as the business grows
n
- Current Criminal History Check clearance, or willingness to obtain one
n
- Willing and able to act as key personnel
