Our new village located in The Gums has a requirement for Chefs/Cooks for full-time permanent positions. You will be part of the kitchen teams responsible for preparing quality breakfasts, crib/lunches and dinners.

To be successful, you will be a self-motivated team player with a passion for providing exceptional food and service in an open kitchen environment.

Key capabilities and requirements include

- Minimum of a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (recognised in Australia)
- At least two years relevant post trade experience as a Chef or Line Cook




- Availability to work an on/off roster of 18 days on and 10 days off in a remote camp/village environment
- Current working knowledge of current Australian Food Secure Standards / HACCP
- High standards in food storage and preparation methods
- High attention to detail
- Permanent unrestricted working rights in Australia (employer sponsorship unavailable)

Preference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate previous experience working in a large-scale restaurant environment, or previous camp/village experience. The Point/s of Hire for these opportunities are Toowoomba and Miles, where you will need to make your own way to for your work swings, for us to then transport you out to your camp or village site.

Candidates will be required to undertake various pre-employment checks including a criminal history clearance and fitness for duty pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol testing, as well as client specific certifications and inductions.
