You'll work with a diverse client portfolio spanning individuals, family groups and SMEs with the autonomy to manage relationships and deliver work your way. You'll act as the 2IC to the Director across their portfolio, taking on client-facing role, allowing you to focus on client relationships, technical work and advisory opportunities.
Some responsibilities include:
- Preparation and review of income tax returns for all entities and all other compliance requirements
- Preparation and analysis of management reports
- Work on various tax issues including FBT, Div7A, CGT, GST, PSI, tax planning and structuring
- Providing support to Director in relation to client management and project based work.
Applicants:
- Experience working in a Senior Accountant capacity
- Approximately 4+ years' experience in public practice
- CA/CPA qualified or studying
- Strong technical understanding of SME matters
- Demonstrated experience dealing with clients directly
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Solutions-oriented mindset and able to articulate information of varying complexities to stakeholders effectively
