/nWe are now looking for an exceptional Audiologist to join our experienced and supportive team./n

/nThe Opportunity/n
/n
/nWe currently have an opportunity for a Part-Time or Full-Time Audiologist, working across our Richmond and Footscray clinics./n
/n
/nImmediate start available./n

/nThis role is ideally suited to an experienced clinician who enjoys variety, values clinical independence and is passionate about providing genuinely patient-centred care./n

/nAt earLAB, your role won't be limited to hearing tests and hearing aids. Our scope of practice is broad, giving you the opportunity to develop your skills across a diverse range of audiology and ear health services./n

/nWhat You'll Do/n
/n
/nYour primary responsibilities will include:/n
/n
/nConducting comprehensive hearing assessments for clients aged 10 years and over/n
/nConducting audiological assessments, diagnosis and development of individualised management plans/n
/nProviding bespoke hearing and communication solutions based on each client's needs, lifestyle and goals/n
/nFitting, programming, fine-tuning and managing hearing aids and other hearing devices/n
/nConducting ear health assessments, including video otoscopy/n
/nPerforming aural microsuction and ear wax management/n
/nProviding custom hearing protection solutions for individuals and workplaces/n
/nTaking ear impressions for custom hearing protection and custom in-ear monitors (CIEMs)/n
/nWorking with musicians, performers, sound engineers and other professionals who rely on their hearing/n
/nWorking with DVA, private and insurance-funded clients/n
/nEducating clients and the wider community about hearing health and hearing loss prevention/n

/nMaintaining accurate clinical records and high-quality clinical documentation/n

/nReferring clients to GPs, ENT specialists, allied health professionals and other healthcare providers when appropriate/n
/nCollaborating with educators, allied health professionals, community organisations and workplace health professionals/n
/nContributing to hearing conservation programs and initiatives across different industries/n
/nEngaging with the community to promote hearing health, prevention and accessible ear care/n
/nKeeping up to date with advances in audiology, hearing technology and evidence-based clinical practice/n
/nAbout You/n
/n
/nWe're looking for someone who is clinically capable, curious, compassionate and genuinely cares about people./n
/n
/nYou will ideally have:/n
/n
/nA recognised qualification in Audiology/n




/nFull membership with Audiology Australia or an equivalent professional body/n
/nA current Clinical Certificate of Practice/n
/nClinical experience as an Audiologist/n
/nExperience conducting hearing assessments, diagnostics and treatment planning/n
/nExperience with hearing aid fitting, programming and hearing technology/n
/nStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and provide effective counselling/n
/nA genuine commitment to patient-centred care and achieving the best possible outcomes/n
/nThe ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a collaborative team/n
/nInitiative and a willingness to contribute ideas and continuously improve the services we provide/n
/nA commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice/n
/nExperience in the following areas is highly regarded:/n
/nAural microsuction / manual ear wax removal/n
/nCustom hearing protection/n
/nEar impression taking/n
/nCustom in-ear monitors (CIEMs)/n
/nHearing conservation programs/n
/nDVA services/n
/nInsurance-funded services/n
/nWorking with musicians, performers or people working in high-noise environments/n
