Boonderoo Pastoral Company is looking for someone who is serious about building a career in agriculture. You will be someone who wants to be part of a significant livestock operation and has the drive to do the job well.

The Role

You'll be involved in

- Cattle + sheep work
- Stock movements
- Animal health
- Pasture management
- General livestock husbandry
- Working with virtual herding technology
- Machinery operation
- Cropping + harvest when required

Boonderoo is dedicated to continually improving livestock handling, with a quiet and considered approach to working with cattle and sheep.

Good working dogs are highly valued. Ideally, you'll bring your own well-trained dog(s)



or be happy to work with the kelpies onsite.

What you will bring

We are open to a range of experience. You may have just started your career with a year of experience under your belt or you may be a seasoned station hand looking to settle into a farm that has pride in their business.

We're looking for someone with

- Minimum 1-2 years practical farming experience
- Solid cattle + sheep experience
- Safe + competent machinery skills
- A willingness to work hard and get stuck in
- Initiative + common sense
- Reliability - if you say you'll do something, you do it
- Respect for livestock, machinery + your teammates
- Interest in current technology + better ways of doing things
- A willingness to learn + keep improving

Your strong work ethic, respectful attitude and good old fashioned manners are the key attributes that matters most.
