We're looking for a skilled Welder to join our manufacturing team and play a key role in fabricating, assembling and finishing quality products for our customers.

About the Role

Reporting to the Manufacturing Lead, you will be responsible for welding, fabrication, assembly and repair activities while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality and workmanship.

This is a hands-on workshop-based role where you'll work closely with production and engineering teams to deliver products on time and to specification.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform MIG and TIG welding to engineering specifications
- Fabricate, polish, assemble and repair metal components and structures
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical plans
- Complete grinding, polishing and finishing work to a high standard
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the fabrication process
- Maintain production and quality documentation
- Work safely and comply with all workplace health and safety requirements
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the workshop
- Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in a safe and organised condition

About You





You are a trade-qualified welder or fabricator who takes pride in producing quality work and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.

Essential

- Trade qualification in Welding, Engineering Fabrication or related discipline
- Demonstrated experience in a welding, fabrication or manufacturing environment
- Strong MIG welding and metal fabrication skills
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Commitment to protected work practices and quality workmanship

Desirable

- Experience working with stainless steel or aluminium
- Welding Certificate 7
