About the role

Federal Hospitality Equipment Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Hi Reach Forklift Driver to join our warehousing and distribution operations based in Truganina, VIC. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining efficient warehouse operations and ensuring timely delivery of products to our customers. As a Hi Reach Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for operating specialised high-reach equipment to manage inventory in our distribution centre, contributing directly to the smooth functioning of our supply chain and the satisfaction of our clients.

Key responsibilities

- Operate hi-reach forklifts safely and efficiently to retrieve, place and organise products within the warehouse storage systems

- Follow all workplace health and safety protocols, including conducting pre-shift equipment inspections and reporting any maintenance issues

- Stack and unstack goods at height with precision, ensuring proper load securing and warehouse organisation

- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and product locations using warehouse management systems

- Assist in the receipt and dispatch of goods, ensuring all items are correctly identified and documented

- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily targets and maintain warehouse efficiency

- Keep the warehouse clean and orderly, adhering to all company policies and procedures

- Report any damaged goods, discrepancies or safety concerns to management immediately

- Experience is necessary

What we're looking for

- Current and valid High Reach Forklift Licence (or willingness to obtain one with support)

- Proven experience operating hi-reach or similar aerial work platforms in a warehouse or distribution environment

- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety standards and best practices





- Ability to work at height and manage the physical demands of the role

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when handling and recording inventory

- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team

- Reliability and punctuality, with a strong work ethic

- Familiarity with warehouse management systems or inventory tracking software (desirable)

- Previous experience in warehousing, distribution or manufacturing environments (desirable)
