About the role

Maintain a clean and immaculate home environment and provide exceptional laundry services to residents in our aged care facility, The Queenslea in Claremont. We offer successful applicants an outstanding workplace, beautiful surroundings and a positive and engaging culture to join our team on Part time basis, available to work from Monday - Friday 0700-1500.

The role will entail:

- The provision of high quality cleaning and laundry services for the people living in The Queenslea

- Working as part of a dynamic team.

- Maintain high standards of infection control.

- Completing documentation in accordance with Oryx Communities policies and procedures.

- Interacting with the residents and their families in a friendly, helpful and positive manner.





- Excellent time management and attention to detail required.

Skills and experience

- Previous experience in housekeeping/hotel services/laundry services required

- Ability to manage time effectively

- Understanding of quality customer service to residents and their families

- Outstanding attention to detail

- Positive communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

- Understanding and previous experience working with residents living with Dementia favourable

- Have full Australian working rights and able to pass a national police clearance
