The Role:
This organisation is seeking an experienced Management Accountant for a six-month contract. You will play a key role in preparing budgets and forecasts, analysing financial performance and providing meaningful financial insights to support informed decision-making across the organisation.
Responsibilities include:

- Preparing management reports and providing clear financial insights
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
- Analysing financial performance and investigating variances
- Assisting with month-end reporting and reconciliations
- Working with stakeholders to provide practical financial advice
- Preparing financial models and ad hoc analysis
- Identifying opportunities to improve reporting and financial processes

Your Profile:





- Experience as a Management Accountant, Finance Business Partner or in a similar role
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, reporting and financial analysis skills
- Advanced Excel skills and the ability to explain financial information clearly
- Confidence working with a range of stakeholders
- Previous experience in a Queensland Government department or broader public sector environment will be highly regarded
- CA/CPA qualifications, or progress towards qualification, will be highly regarded
