About the role

This is a genuinely hands-on leadership role split evenly between running the business day-to-day and driving its growth. You'll oversee field operations and crews to keep projects on track, on budget and compliant, while also building client relationships, identifying new opportunities and winning new work. No two days will look the same — one morning you might be coordinating site crews and reviewing project registers, the next you're in front of a client scoping the next piece of work.

Key responsibilities

- Overseeing day-to-day operations across active sites and project teams, including scheduling, resourcing and compliance

- Managing project delivery to ensure work is completed safely, on time and to budget

- Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients across the telecommunications and utilities sectors

- Identifying, pursuing and winning new business opportunities, including preparing quotes, proposals and tender responses

- Working closely with site supervisors and administrative staff to keep registers, reporting and documentation up to date

- Contributing to broader business strategy and helping shape TSM's continued growth across South Australia

About you

- Experience in civil infrastructure, utilities or telecommunications construction (pit and pipe or similar works highly regarded)

- A background in operations,



project or contracts management within the civil/construction industry

- Demonstrated experience in business development, client relationship management, quoting or tendering

- Strong organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines

- Confident communication skills across all levels, from field crews to clients and senior stakeholders

- A current driver's licence and willingness to travel to regional sites as required

- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and genuine care for safety and quality outcomes
