Job description:

This position is ideal for experienced Skilled Labourers and Operators who is equally comfortable assisting on the ground when required. While machinery operation will form part of the role, successful applicants must also be willing to undertake labouring duties to support the project and wider crew.

Key Responsibilities:

· Operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently.

· Assist with general civil labouring duties when required.

· Support excavation, trenching, backfilling and material movement.

· Assist supervisors and plant operators with daily site activities.

· Conduct pre-start inspections and basic operator maintenance.

· Comply with all WHS requirements, SWMS and site procedures.

· Maintain a clean, safe and productive work environment.

Requirements for this position:





· Minimum 3 years' experience operating heavy machinery within civil construction.

· Minimum 2 years' experience labouring duties within civil construction, including asphalt.

· Current White Card and driver’s licence.

· SOA & VOC for Plant (Skid Steer, Moxy, Excavator, etc)

· Proficiency with hand and power tools.

· Willingness to work both in machinery and on the ground as required.

· Strong physical stamina and commitment to safe work practices.

· Team-focused attitude and solid work ethic.

· Full working rights in Australia.
