We’re conducting a confidential search for an experienced Centre Director to lead a large, established early learning service in Sydney’s Hills District.

About the Chance This isn’t a role where you’ll be expected to do everything yourself.
The service has an established team and positive culture, with a robust leadership structure already around the Director.

You’ll be supported by an off-the-floor 2IC and predominantly off-the-floor Educational Leader, alongside an Operations Manager and engaged owners who genuinely support their service leaders.

Your focus will be on providing consistent, visible leadership, developing your team and ensuring the service continues delivering high-quality outcomes for children and families.

About You Ideally,



we’re looking for a Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teacher with proven Centre Director experience who knows how to lead a large service and bring the best out of their people.

You’ll ideally bring:

- Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education – highly regarded
- Strong experience as a Centre Director or similar senior ECE leadership position
- Experience leading a larger team and service
- Strong understanding of the NQF, NQS and EYLF
- Confidence across people leadership, operations and compliance
- A calm, professional and solutions-focused leadership style
- Ability to build trust and maintain a positive team culture
- Genuine commitment to quality and child safety

Child Safeguarding We’re looking for an individual who understands, promotes and upholds the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations. You’ll play an important role in maintaining an environment where children’s safety, rights and wellbeing remain the highest priority.
Child safeguarding methods include, but are not limited to:

- NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Thorough candidate screening
- Reference checks
- National criminal history check
