About the Role:

At Chemist King, we are committed to serving our local community and ensuring the well-being of our patients, including those residing in nursing homes. We are currently seeking a Webster Packer / Dispense Technician to join our team, focusing on medication packing and dispensing for both our local community and nursing home patients. This role will be approx 20-25 hrs/wk (some Saturdays 9am - 1pm may be required).

- Provide exceptional customer service to both community members and nursing home residents.

- Demonstrate competent computer skills.

- Accurately and safely pack medications for both community and nursing home patients.

- Upkeep and record management.

- Work in a team environment with the ability to work unsupervised after training program has been completed.

- Delivering health promotion programs as required.

About you:

We are seeking candidates who are passionate about making a positive impact on the health and well-being of our community and nursing home patients. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

- Previous experience as a Dispense Technician is preferred, but not required.





- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication packing and dispensing (essential).

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

- Compassionate and empathetic approach when interacting with patients and nursing home staff.

- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a rapid-paced pharmacy environment.
