About the role

Zankap is looking for a tech-savvy, organised and proactive person to join our team in a Technical Sales & Customer Support role.

We are an established Australian family-owned business specialising in security, CCTV, access control and intercom solutions.

This is a varied, hands-on position for someone who enjoys working with customers, technology and systems. You'll play an important role in keeping our sales and operations running smoothly while providing excellent support to our customers.

We're looking for someone who takes ownership and responsibility, follows things through and isn't afraid to find a better or smarter way of getting things done.

What you'll be doing

- Responding to customer enquiries by phone and email

- Assisting customers with product selection and general technical enquiries

- Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently

- Keeping customers informed about stock availability and order status

- Preparing quotes and supporting the sales process

- Raising and managing purchase orders with suppliers

- Following up suppliers and incoming stock

- Assisting with inventory and stock management

- Processing warranty claims and product returns

- Maintaining accurate customer and product information

- Updating website products, pricing and content

- Monitoring product and sales trends

- Supporting the Directors and wider Zankap team

- Using technology, AI and automation tools to improve efficiency and streamline everyday processes

About you





We're not necessarily looking for someone who knows everything about our products on day one. We'll teach you.

- Tech-savvy and confident learning recent systems

- Friendly and confident dealing with customers

- Highly organised with strong attention to detail

- Reliable and responsible

- Someone who takes ownership and follows tasks through

- A good communicator

- Comfortable juggling different priorities

- Interested in technology and finding smarter ways to work

- A genuine team player with a positive attitude

Previous experience in technical sales, customer service, security, electrical, technology, wholesale/distribution or a similar industry would be highly regarded, but isn't essential for the right person.
