About the Role

As an Enrolled Nurse, you will play an important role in delivering safe, high-quality and person-centred nursing care to our residents, working collaboratively with a broader care team.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Delivering safe, person-centred nursing care in accordance with individual care plans and within your scope of practice

- Supporting residents to maintain their dignity,



independence and quality of life

- Undertaking clinical observations and reporting changes in residents' health and wellbeing to the Registered Nurse

- Assisting with medication management in accordance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures

- Supporting wound care, continence care, nutrition and other clinical care requirements as directed

- Contributing to assessments, care planning and ongoing evaluation of resident care

- Responding appropriately to changes in residents' condition and clinical emergencies

- Working collaboratively with Registered Nurses, Team Leaders, Personal Care Workers and other members of the multidisciplinary team

- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation

- Supporting infection prevention and control practices

- Promoting a positive culture of respect, safety, dignity and continuous improvement

- Escalating clinical concerns and changes in resident condition to the Registered Nurse or relevant clinical leader

About You?

Are you a compassionate Enrolled Nurse who enjoys working collaboratively and takes pride in delivering exceptional care?

To be successful, you will need:

- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse





- Current CPR Certificate

- Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

- Full Australian working rights

- Sound clinical knowledge and understanding of aged care nursing

- Ability to work within your scope of practice and under the direction of a Registered Nurse

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong organisational and time management skills

- Competent computer and clinical documentation skills

- A genuine commitment to resident-centred care

- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Desirable

- Previous Residential Aged Care experience

- Experience with medication administration

- Experience with clinical documentation and electronic care systems

- Knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and relevant legislative requirements

- Commitment to ongoing career development
