Connect People is currently seeking experienced Civil Water & Sewer Maintenance Workers for opportunities across Melbourne's Northern, Eastern and South-Eastern suburbs.

We work with established water infrastructure companies delivering essential maintenance, repair and renewal works across Melbourne. We're looking for reliable, hardworking & experienced people to join our growing workforce.

What's on offer:
• $42.16-$49.38 per hour + super, depending on the role
• Monday to Friday day shifts
• 7:00am starts
• Opportunities across Melbourne's North, East and South-East areas
• Ongoing opportunities available
• Work with established water and infrastructure companies
• Potential for overtime and additional work depending on project requirements

What you'll be doing:

Live Water Maintenance
• Assisting with water main maintenance and repairs
• Supporting crews with planned and reactive maintenance works
• Working around live water infrastructure
• Assisting with pipe, valve and connection works
• Operating excavators and assisting with plant operations where qualified
• General civil labouring and site support

Sewer Maintenance
• Carrying out sewer maintenance and repair works
• High-pressure water jetting and clearing blockages
• Operating jet trucks where qualified
• Assisting with CCTV inspections
• Supporting pipe relining, rodding, patching and sealing works




• General drainage and civil maintenance duties

Licences & Tickets Required:

Live Water Maintenance:
• MR Licence or higher
• Excavator Ticket
• Spotter Ticket
• Asbestos Awareness – Class B Non-Friable
• First Aid & CPR

Sewer Maintenance:
• MR Licence or higher
• Confined Spaces
• Working at Heights
• Hepatitis & Tetanus vaccinations
• First Aid & CPR
• Water Jetting Ticket
