About the Role

Due to continued growth, Contract Resources (CR) is seeking an experienced and driven Talent Lead to join our People & Culture team on a permanent full-time basis in Perth.

Reporting to the HR Manager, this position is responsible for leading and evolving talent acquisition across Australia. Working closely with operational leaders and key stakeholders, you will develop and implement recruitment strategies, drive continuous improvement initiatives, strengthen employer branding, and support workforce planning activities that enable the business to attract and retain top talent.

This is a hands-on leadership role that combines operational recruitment delivery with strategic talent initiatives. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping recruitment processes, improving candidate and hiring manager experiences, leveraging data and market insights, and supporting the ongoing growth and success of Contract Resources across multiple business units and regions.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

- Leading end-to-end recruitment activities across a variety of technical, trade, professional and leadership positions throughout Australia
- Developing and executing talent acquisition strategies aligned with business growth and workforce planning requirements




- Partnering with leaders and hiring managers to provide expert recruitment advice and market insights
- Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives across recruitment systems, processes and candidate experience
- Leading and mentoring recruitment team members while fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture
- Driving sourcing strategies that proactively build talent pipelines for current and future workforce requirements
- Managing recruitment projects, campaigns and mobilisation activities to support major contracts, shutdowns and growth opportunities
- Analysing recruitment metrics and market trends to support data-driven decision making
- Championing employer branding initiatives to strengthen CR's position as an employer of choice
- Managing relationships with external recruitment agencies, advertising partners and talent providers
- Supporting organisational initiatives including workforce planning, succession planning and talent management activities
- Ensuring recruitment practices remain compliant with relevant legislation, policies and industry best practice
- Collaborating with People & Culture stakeholders to support broader HR initiatives and business objectives
- Leveraging ATS, recruitment technologies and automation opportunities to improve team efficiency and reporting capabilities

Requirements & Experience Needed

- 7+ years' experience in Talent Acquisition, Internal Recruitment or Workforce Planning within industrial, resources, energy, mining, construction or similar sectors
- Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring or managing recruitment professionals
- Proven success developing and implementing recruitment strategies that support organisational growth
- Strong experience managing end-to-end recruitment across high-volume and specialist positions
- Experience driving process improvements,



system enhancements and recruitment best practice initiatives
- Solid understanding of workforce planning, talent pooling and proactive sourcing methodologies
- Experience with JobAdder, PageUp and Dayforce systems (advantageous)
- Exposure to ATS optimisation, recruitment reporting and HR technology improvements
- Ability to analyse recruitment data and translate insights into practical business outcomes
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build trusted partnerships across all levels of the business
- Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Management or a related discipline (desirable)
