Experienced Level 3 Rope Access Technician

We are currently seeking an experienced Level 3 Rope Access Technician to join our team working on civil construction, ground engineering and slope stabilisation project in Coffs Harbour Hinterland

The role will involve working in a variety of rope access and high-angle environments, supporting slope stabilisation and civil construction activities. We are looking for an experienced technician who is confident working at height, can lead rope access operations and has a strong understanding of safe work practices.

About the Role

- Carry out rope access works safely and efficiently on civil construction and slope stabilisation projects

- Establish, inspect and manage rope access systems and anchor arrangements

- Undertake high-angle access and work positioning activities

- Lead and supervise rope access operations where required

- Conduct rope access rescues and emergency response activities

- Assist with the installation of soil nails, mesh, shotcrete and other slope stabilisation works

- Work alongside drilling crews, shotcrete crews, plant operators and other site personnel

- Complete daily pre-starts, equipment inspections and operational records

- Inspect and maintain rope access equipment and ensure equipment is fit for purpose

- Ensure rope access activities are carried out in accordance with relevant procedures, SWMS and project requirements

- Assist with planning and implementing rope access systems for changing site conditions

- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping,



safety and environmental compliance

About You

- Current IRATA Level 3 certification is essential

- Strong understanding of rope access systems, rigging and rescue techniques

- Confident leading rope access activities and supervising Level 1 and Level 2 technicians

- Experience working on steep slopes, batters and other challenging access environments

- Strong understanding of working at heights and high-angle safety requirements

- Ability to assess site conditions and identify potential hazards

- Physically fit and comfortable working in demanding outdoor environments

- Reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Solid communication and leadership skills

- Current Driver Licence

- Current White Card

- Relevant tickets and qualifications
