Wambo feedlot is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated person to join our Stock Handling team.

Ideally we require experienced stockperson's with demonstrated abilities in livestock handling

Wambo Feedlot - Custom feedlot operation located 35 km's west of Dalby,

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Livestock handling – inducting and drafting. Moving cattle from pen to pen on foot.

- Unload and load cattle into and out of the facility for processing

- Communication with the other members of the crew and facility management.

- Ensuring that policies and procedures are adhered to.

- Quality assurance and accurate record keeping

- Contributing to other areas of the feedlot as required

Job Requirements

The successful applicant will need to have proven experience in the following:

- Experience in cattle handling essential

- Low stress stock handling techniques





- An understanding of animal health and welfare

- Effective teamwork skills

- Experience in HGP application

- Current drivers’ licence

Our staff receive regular training in livestock nutrition and welfare

Previous experience working in a Feedlot would be highly advantageous.
