This is a pivotal role within our business. You’ll own workshop production and be the link between our project team and the workshop floor, keeping production running smoothly and ensuring the right information and resources reach the right people at the right time. Solid communication skills and the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders are essential.
Key Responsibilities
• Act as the key point of contact between Project Managers/Engineers and the workshop, ensuring project requirements translate smoothly into production
• Own the production schedule and coordinate day-to-day logistics and resourcing to keep jobs moving on time and on budget
• Prepare and release fabrication packs to the workshop floor
• Manage supplier relationships and follow up on deliveries to avoid production delays
• Liaise & work closely with the Foreman and workshop team to manage workflow and priorities
• Monitor stock and resourcing levels, proactively flagging any gaps that could affect the schedule
• Resolve production bottlenecks and scheduling conflicts
• Ensure quality, safety, and compliance standards are maintained on the workshop floor
