About the Role:

We are looking for an Associate level Registered Architect to play a key leadership role within our Canberra studio, helping to lead the delivery of significant projects across our Commercial, Education, and Health + Science sectors.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Architect and leader who can combine strong design capability with proven project delivery expertise. You will take projects from concept through to completion while leading teams, managing client relationships, and coordinating consultants across multiple project typologies.

Your people skills, collaborative approach, and ability to mentor and inspire others are just as important as your design and technical capability. We are seeking someone who is passionate about design excellence, driven to achieve outstanding outcomes, and eager to contribute to the continued growth of the studio.

You will also play an important role in developing the next generation of architects and designers within the studio. We are looking for a leader who enjoys mentoring junior team members, sharing knowledge, and fostering a collaborative learning environment that supports both professional growth and design excellence.

As a hands-on leader, you will need to work in Revit when required and have a strong understanding of documentation processes, deliverables, and project timelines.

Our Canberra studio sits in the heart of the CBD and is surrounded by a vibrant mix of commercial, and hospitality infrastructure, whilst also being bordered by landmark civic spaces and parklands. General Duties:

- Lead the delivery and management of projects across all stages, from concept design through to contract administration
- Provide leadership and strategic direction to project teams
- Manage the day-to-day operations of projects, updating Partners when required
- Oversee project documentation and review drawings in Revit, including mentoring and guiding team members
- Play an active role in mentoring, coaching, and developing junior team members, providing guidance across design, documentation, project delivery, and career development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders
- Contribute to business development opportunities and support the continued growth of the practice

About You:

We are looking for an experienced Architect who can apply solid design thinking, technical expertise, and project leadership skills to deliver inspiring and functional outcomes across a range of sectors.

You will bring proven experience across all project phases, solid consultant coordination skills, and the ability to lead teams and projects with confidence.





To be successful in this role you will need:

- 10+ years’ architectural experience on medium to large-scale projects across Commercial, Education, and/or Health and Science sectors
- To be registered in the ACT
- Demonstrated experience leading and delivering projects from briefing through to project handover
- Proven leadership experience managing teams, clients, and consultants within complex project environments
- Strong client relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and people leadership capability
- Strong technical and construction knowledge
- Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a national team environment
- Demonstrated expertise in Revit
