The Opportunity

Do you thrive on solving problems, connecting with people from all walks of life, and making sure no one feels like a stranger in a new country? We're looking for a Cultural Safety Liaison to join our Events and Cultural Services team in Harvey, WA, and become the go-to person for our multicultural workforce as they settle into life in Australia.

You'll be the friendly face and steady hand behind onboarding, accommodation, and cultural integration, helping new team members navigate everything from banking to social norms, while keeping their welfare and wellbeing front of mind.

If you're proactive, hands-on, and genuinely energised by community support work, this is a role where the impact you make is real and visible, every week.

The Role

- Guide new employees through the practicalities of Australian life, including banking, Q-Fever appointments, safe driving education, and social norms.
- Organise and join weekend activities, such as shopping trips and sporting events, that help people feel part of the community.
- Support new employees with accommodation arrangements, including sourcing, preparation, and maintenance.




- Conduct weekly health checks on housing and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with transport, including driving a 12-seater bus.
- Support onsite operations such as canteen, laundry, and cleaning duties, and help maintain grounds and gardens to agent requirements.
- Escalate welfare concerns promptly to the Events and Cultural Services Manager.
- Hours: Standard hours Monday to Friday, plus every second weekend.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a genuine ability to connect across a culturally diverse workforce.
- A proactive, hands-on approach, equally comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to manage large datasets accurately.
- Sharp attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- A valid driver's license (ability to drive a 12-seater bus preferred).
- A current Australian driver's license (ability to drive a 12-seater bus or larger preferred).
- Safe Food Handling Certificate (desirable).
