Melville Omoda Jaecoo is looking for an enthusiastic Trainee Sales Consultant to join our team.

If you enjoy meeting people, learning new skills and working towards goals, this could be your prospect to start a career in automotive sales. Previous dealership experience isn’t required. We welcome applicants from retail, hospitality, customer service and other customer-facing roles.

The role

With support from the sales team, you’ll learn to:

- Welcome customers and understand what they’re looking for in a vehicle

- Build your knowledge of the Omoda and Jaecoo range

- Respond to showroom, phone and online enquiries

- Present vehicles and assist with test drives

- Follow up with customers and maintain accurate enquiry records

- Help customers through the purchasing and delivery process

- Work towards individual and team sales goals

About you

You’ll bring a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a genuine interest in helping customers. You’ll also have strong communication skills, good organisation and confidence using computers. A current driver’s licence is required.
