Summary:

WA Blue Sky is seeking an experienced Part-time Scheduler to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about effective rostering, workforce coordination, and ensuring shifts are covered to support the delivery of high-quality services. Reporting to the Head of Operations Home & Community, you will work closely with our frontline teams to maintain service continuity and positive outcomes for our clients.
The Role:
This is a part-time, fixed-term position for 6 months, based at our Head Office in Bentley. The role includes working every Friday,
with additional shifts available on an ad hoc basis to support operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and update employee rosters to meet customer and operational requirements.
- Manage roster changes arising from employee availability, leave requests, training, and customer support needs.
- Collaborate with Home and Community Leads (HCLs) to ensure rosters align with service delivery requirements and SCHADS Award obligations.
- Source and coordinate suitable shift coverage for planned and unplanned absences.
- Respond promptly and professionally to employee roster enquiries and requests.
- Monitor roster trends, attendance issues, and recurring cancellations, escalating concerns as required.
- Maintain accurate employee and roster records across relevant systems.
Experience, Skills & Attributes:
- Demonstrated previous experience in rostering, workforce planning, or scheduling within a complex environment.
- Experience using workforce management or rostering systems.
- Highly developed analytical skills with the ability to interpret workforce data and provide meaningful insights.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, quality, and compliance.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a quick-paced environment.
- Ability to identify issues, analyse root causes, and implement practical solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong customer focus, both internal and external.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
