Airswift is currently partnering with a well-established engineering contractor to source Mechanical Fitters for a major upcoming project based in Henderson, WA.

With a large scope of work commencing in the week of 5 October, successful candidates will join a busy team working 12-hour days, 6 days per week for approximately 4 weeks. Immediate starts are available, and candidates can be mobilised quickly with no formal client interview process required.

About the Role

Working within a busy marine and industrial workshop environment, you will be responsible for:

- Mechanical fitting, maintenance and repair of marine equipment and machinery

- Installation, alignment and realignment of mechanical components

- Working on shafts, gearboxes, couplings and rotating equipment

- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications

- Supporting project delivery across marine and defence sectors

- Working closely with trades and project teams to maintain safe and effective operations

What You'll Need

- Mechanical Fitter Trade Qualification

- Experience working with Shafts, Gearboxes, Mechanical alignments and realignments

- Rotating equipment





- Strong commitment to safety and quality

- Team-focused attitude and willingness to work across different trades and departments

- Current Driver's Licence

- Current National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain one
