We are recruiting on behalf of an established manufacturing business in Melbourne's northern suburbs.

Due to continued growth, they are looking for experienced and mechanically minded people across two permanent opportunities:

- Die Setter / Fitter & Turner
- Injection Moulding Technician

Both positions are permanent, full-time day shift roles, Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm, with RDOs and overtime opportunities.

Die Setter / Fitter & Turner

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working with machinery, problem-solving and supporting a busy manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities

- Installing and removing moulds/dies
- Setting and preparing equipment for production
- Machine setup, adjustments and changeovers
- Troubleshooting mechanical issues
- Supporting mould and equipment maintenance
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Working with production teams to achieve quality and output requirements
- Maintaining a safe and organised work setting

About You

- Experience as a Die Setter, Fitter & Turner, Toolmaker or similar
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Manufacturing experience highly regarded
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Practical approach to fault finding and problem-solving
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team




- Robust attention to detail
- Forklift licence desirable but not essential

Injection Moulding Technician

This is a hands-on position suited to a technician with strong injection moulding knowledge and a practical approach to troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities

- Setting and preparing equipment for production
- Machine setup and adjustments
- Supporting production changeovers
- Monitoring equipment and production performance
- Troubleshooting machine and production issues
- Supporting production and quality targets
- Identifying issues and helping minimise downtime
- Working closely with production and maintenance teams
- Following safety and quality procedures

About You

- Previous experience as an Injection Moulding Technician / Setter
- Strong injection moulding knowledge
- Experience with machine setup and changeovers
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Mechanical and technical aptitude
- Manufacturing experience
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Forklift licence desirable but not essential
