About the role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Beekeeper to join our team on a full time basis to oversee the care and maintenance of our bee colonies.

Key responsibilities
Inspect beehives regularly to monitor colony health and productivity
Identify and address diseases, parasites, and other hive issues
Manage hive population through techniques such as splitting and requeening
Harvest and process honey, beeswax, and other hive products
Keep detailed records of hive conditions, treatments, and yields
Maintain and repair beekeeping equipment
Ensure all activities comply with local agricultural and safety regulations
Support educational or outreach events when needed

About you
Previous experience in beekeeping or a related field
Knowledge of honeybee biology and seasonal hive management
Ability to work independently and outdoors in varying weather conditions




Robust attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Physical ability to lift hives and equipment (up to 50 lbs)
A valid driver's licence
Formal training or certification in apiculture or entomology (preferred)
Experience with sustainable beekeeping practices (preferred)
Familiarity with queen rearing and hive expansion techniques (preferred)
