Reporting to the Superintendent Production and Survey, you will be a key member of our energetic and results-driven team as we continue to focus on safety, production, performance and business improvement.

You’ll be a valued and trusted technical leader and advisor for the production team and drive initiatives that enable operational excellence as site ramps up production post completion of the Wira Shaft and Prominent Hill Operations Expansion (PHOX). Your experience in Mining Engineering will allow you to provide team leadership and enable coaching and mentoring of developing engineers.

This role is critical in supporting the production team in day-to-day problem solving and identifying improvement prospects through data analysis or in-field observations.

Regularly engaging with frontline crews and planning, you’ll be determining the practicality of recent ideas, and supporting development of plans / schedules / forecasts. You can also expect to be involved with assessing equipment capability, creating operating standards, procedures and work instructions.

Location: Prominent Hill, South Australia (60-minute flight from Adelaide / 30-minute flight from Port Augusta)Roster: 8 days on; 6 days off
