In this role, you will report to the Lead Mine Services Engineer, helping translate short-term mine plans into secure, achievable, and effective operational outcomes. Leveraging your mining operational experience and engineering expertise, you will work closely with underground crews and cross-functional teams to optimise mine performance, identify risks and improvement opportunities, and support the delivery of continuous improvement initiatives.

Key deliverables:
Maintain and support a robust safety culture through field leadership, hazard identification, participation in investigations and compliance reviews.
Liaise with underground crews to ensure that new ideas are developed and practically implemented and build cross-team relationships;




Compile reports & provide expertise to other teams in analysis of mine services performance indicators and metrics;
Support the ramp-up, optimisation, and troubleshooting of the Paste Reticulation System to achieve safe and reliable operations.
Engage with Backfill, Vent, G&TS;, Development, Scheduling and Maintenance teams for modifications needed to plant and equipment, and with Technology teams to explore new capabilities.

Location: Olympic Dam, South Australia

Roster: 8 days on, 6 days off; FIFO from Adelaide or Residential in Roxby Downs
