Think Safety Workwear is a successful locally owned business that has been in operation for over 20 years. We specialise in helping local customers both large and small to keep secure through the provision of safety equipment, PPE, workwear and work boots. Think Safety offers a comprehensive range of quality brands such as Mongrel, Steel Blue, Bisley and FXD. We also specialise in garment decoration and offer inhouse embroidery and vinyl application.

About the role

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will combine retail sales and customer service with the coordination of our embroidery and print orders. This is a wide-ranging role where you will help customers select the right workwear, uniforms, work boots, and PPE, while guiding their decorated garment orders from the initial enquiry through to production and completion.

Key responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with workwear, uniforms, work boots and PPE.
Understand each customer's requirements and recommend suitable garments, products and decoration options.
Prepare quotes, process orders and accurately record all job details in our CRM and job management systems.




Coordinate logos, artwork, digitising, DTF transfers and customer proofs.
Manage garment decoration orders from initial enquiry through approvals, production and completion.
Liaise with customers, suppliers and the production team to resolve roadblocks, keep jobs progressing and provide timely updates.
Support the day-to-day operation of the store through retail sales, merchandising, stock control and continuous improvement of our processes.

About you
Previous experience in retail clothing sales
Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to problem solve and build a rapport with customers
Self-motivated with a willingness to drive sales and seek business prospects
Possession of visual merchandising skills
An ability to liaise with suppliers, customers and staff to prioritise and achieve outcomes in a timely manner
Skills in the use of POS software and the Microsoft office suite
Experience with Lightspeed Retail, Hoops CRM, Canva or Photoshop is highly desirable
An ability to work with minimal supervision
