We are currently looking for an experienced warehouse/factory staff member to join our Stair Nosing Department within our flooring distribution facility in Ormeau. This is a casual role suited to a hard-working, take-charge individual seeking growth, with a pathway to a full time position.
To be successful you will need:
Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or machine operating experience preferred.
Mechanically minded with the ability to learn machine setup and adjustments.
high attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to perform manual handling and stand for extended periods.
Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.
Forklift license desirable but not essential.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Available Mon-Fri
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Operating and monitoring stair nosing production equipment.
Loading and unloading flooring planks and materials.
Assisting with machine setup and changeovers for different product sizes.
Performing quality inspections to ensure products meet company standards.
Maintaining a clean and secure work area.
Packaging, handling, and preparing finished products for dispatch.
Following production schedules and work instructions.
Assisting with general factory duties as required
Starting at 8am - 1pm Monday - Friday with the possibility of more if needed when busy.
This position will suit candidates who have previous experience in warehousing and distribution.
