Availabilities: Weekdays and both Weekends

Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation & Cooking: Preparing, seasoning, and cooking café-style food, including sandwiches, salads, breakfast dishes, and daily specials.
Menu Development: Creating and updating menus, developing recipes, and determining plating presentations.
Inventory & Cost Management: Monitoring food stock, placing orders with suppliers, managing stock rotation to minimize waste, and controlling food costs.
Safety & Sanitation: Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, including food storage and kitchen cleanliness.
Kitchen Supervision: Setting up workstations, delegating tasks, mentoring kitchen staff, and ensuring consistent food quality.
Service Coordination:



Liaising with waitstaff regarding specials and handling customer dietary requests.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience: Proven experience as a cook or chef, ideally within a café or casual dining environment.
Culinary Knowledge: Solid knowledge of cooking techniques, recipe development, and food safety standards.
Efficiency: Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a quick-paced, high-pressure setting.
Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate a small team.
Creativity: Passion for creating seasonal or innovative café dishes.
Certifications: Valid food safety handling certificates.
