Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Storeperson/Forklift Operator to join our busy furniture warehouse team based in Alexandria.

This is a outstanding opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on warehouse work and is looking for stable, Monday-to-Friday hours.

About the Role

You will be responsible for the day-to-day movement, handling and storage of furniture and warehouse stock. The role involves both forklift operation and manual handling, so a positive level of fitness and attention to safety is important.

Key Responsibilities
Loading and unloading furniture and other goods
Operating a counterbalance forklift
Picking and packing customer orders
Moving and storing furniture safely within the warehouse
Preparing orders for delivery and dispatch
Checking incoming and outgoing stock
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse
Assisting with general warehouse duties as required
Performing basic computer and inventory tasks
Following workplace health and safety procedures

Skills & Experience




Valid LF Forklift License – essential
Previous forklift and warehouse experience
Experience handling furniture or bulky goods is highly regarded
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
Valuable attention to detail
Good communication and teamwork skills
Basic computer literacy
Ability to work safely and efficiently in a busy warehouse environment
