Job Summary:

We are looking for a casual General Practice Nurse to join our team whenever the lead nurse is absent.

Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Care: Conduct health assessments, manage chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, asthma), perform screenings, and administer vaccinations.
Health Promotion: Provide advice on healthy living, smoking cessation, and general wellness.
Chronic Disease Management: Monitor and support patients with long-term conditions, perform clinical tests, and manage wound care.
Vaccinations: Administer flu, childhood, and travel vaccines.
Clinical Procedures: Perform wound dressings, injections, cervical smears, and assist with minor surgeries.
Collaboration: Work with GPs and other staff to ensure integrated patient care.

Skills & Qualifications:
Registered Nurse (RN) or Enrolled Nurse (EN)
Experience in general practice preferred but not essential.
Proficiency in clinical skills (wound care, injections, etc.).
Solid communication and patient education skills.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 per week
