Open Access College plays an important and critical role in addressing educational disadvantaged for South Australian students who are not able to attend school in person or are unable to access aspects of the full curriculum at their local school.

We support a diverse range of students, many of whom have complex learning and behavioural needs, including students experiencing trauma and anxiety. The ability to build positive relationships, understand individual student needs and develop and implement quality One Plans with appropriate adjustments is essential to supporting student engagement, growth and success.

Students access learning primarily online, with teachers providing opportunities for face-to-face learning where appropriate.

We currently have a unique opportunity for a 0.8FTE Primary Teacher to join our team for Term 4 - we are seeking an outstanding, student-focused primary teacher to join our innovative and engaging team who is focused on student growth and wellbeing.

What you will do:
Teach a small group of students in an online learning workplace.
Develop and deliver engaging learning opportunities tailored to the unique needs, abilities and interests of your students.
Establish positive and respectful relationships with students and their families and strengthen their connection with the College.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support learning, growth and wellbeing.
Maintain accurate student records and support individual learning plans.
Work collaboratively work with the Primary Years Learning Team to ensure consistency of practice and support positive outcomes for students.
