We are seeking a suitably qualified senior hairdresser to join our salon located inside a shopping centre, in Brisbane South / Logan area. This is full-time position only.

The customer base is mostly local residents and families from a diverse background.

We are looking for friendly, motivated and well-presented professionals with solid foundation of basic hairdressing skills in various cuts and colour skills for men and women. Other skills and experience in chemical works such as perms, straightening and smoothing, etc will be looked upon favourably. Candidates with existing clientele will be regarded highly. Successful applicant will need to have minimum 4 years hairdressing experience, and the right attitude for customer service and work ethics.

Job Description
Perform routine haircuts and styling cuts to Men, Women and children.
Provide professional colour services including colour consultation.
Perform chemical perms and straightening services.
Perform shampoo, wash and treatment.
Perform various styling including blowdrys and straightening
Undertake the sale of retail products with sound recommendation of their use.




Maintain clean and hygienic work environment and equipment while adhering to relevant OHS&E; guidelines.
Provide high standard of customer services while with customers and on the phone arranging appointments.
Collect payment from customers with courteous manner and execute opening and closing of the salon.

Role Requirement

· Hold certificate 3 in Hairdressing or higher.

· Minimum of 4 years’ experience.

· Competency in all aspects of hairdressing techniques and treatments.

· Robust time management skills and punctuality.

· Excellent communication skills and friendly attitude to easily build rapport with clients.

· Passion for staying up-to-date on industry trends and techniques.

· Understanding of local people social demographic is desirable.
