The Knick Pizza & Bar | West Ashgrove

We’re looking for a reliable, switched-on Kitchen Hand / Pizza Line Cook to join the team at The Knick.

We’re a busy neighbourhood pizza bar serving up classic and modern takes on pizza. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working in a busy kitchen and takes pride in putting out outstanding food.

What you’ll be doing
Working the pizza line during service
Preparing and topping pizzas to our recipes and standards
Basic food preparation and kitchen duties
Assisting with dishes, cleaning and keeping the kitchen organised
Helping with prep before service and pack-down afterwards
Maintaining food safety, cleanliness and kitchen hygiene standards
Working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team to keep service running smoothly

What we’re looking for
Previous kitchen, pizza or hospitality experience is preferred, but we’re happy to train the right person
Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting
Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team




Good attention to detail and pride in your work
Able to follow recipes, instructions and food safety requirements
A positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in
Availability for evening and weekend shifts

You don’t need to be a pro — but you do need to be keen, reliable and ready to work.
