BOH / Kitchen Attendant – Vietnamese Restaurant

Annamese Kitchen is a Vietnamese café and restaurant in the heart of St Kilda. We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking BOH / Kitchen Attendant to join our friendly team.

About the Role

You’ll support our kitchen team with day-to-day food preparation and kitchen operations. Duties include:
Basic food preparation and ingredient preparation
Assisting chefs during service
Preparing and portioning ingredients
Dishwashing and maintaining a clean kitchen
Cleaning kitchen equipment and work areas
Receiving and organising stock
Following food safety and hygiene procedures
Helping the team during busy service periods

What We’re Looking For
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Able to work efficiently in a busy kitchen
Valuable attitude and willingness to learn
Able to work well as part of a team
Good understanding of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene




Previous BOH or kitchen experience is preferred, but training can be provided for the right person
Vietnamese kitchen experience is an advantage, but not essential
