We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hand / Kitchen Prep team member to join our busy hospitality team in the Blue Mountains.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen and is comfortable assisting with food preparation, cleaning and general kitchen duties.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:
Basic food preparation, including chopping, portioning and preparing ingredients
Assisting chefs with daily kitchen prep
Washing dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment
Keeping kitchen, prep and storage areas clean and organised
Receiving and storing deliveries correctly
Following food safety, hygiene and cleaning procedures
Restocking ingredients and supplies during service
Assisting the kitchen team before, during and after busy services
Completing opening and closing cleaning duties as required

Has good attention to cleanliness and food safety




Is comfortable with physical kitchen work and being on their feet
Works well as part of a team
Is willing to learn and take on additional kitchen responsibilities
Has previous kitchen hand or food preparation experience preferred, but training can be provided for the right person

Availability

We are looking for someone with versatile availability across weekdays and weekends.

Casual or part time hours may be available depending on experience and availability.

Pay: $26.44 – $45.04 per hour
