About the role

IFTAR is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Waiter to join our team in Merrylands, NSW. This is a full time position where you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our customers.

What you'll be doing
Greeting and welcoming customers in a friendly and qualified manner
Taking and processing customer orders accurately
Serving food and beverages to customers in a timely and productive manner
Ensuring tables are set up, cleaned and maintained to a high standard
Assisting with kitchen duties as required
Providing excellent customer service and resolving any customer queries or complaints
Adhering to all health, safety and hygiene regulations

What we're looking for
Previous experience as a Waiter or in a similar customer service role in the hospitality industry
Robust communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Good knowledge of food and beverage service




Ability to work well in a team and under pressure
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and cash handling
Applicable food handling and safety certifications
