About the role

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in producing quality work, can read and interpret drawings, and is confident working across a range of fabrication and welding tasks. You will be working in both a workshop and in office environments, carrying out fabrication, repairs, modifications and general welding duties.

The successful applicant will be safety-focused, dependable and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key responsibilities
Fabricate, weld, repair and modify steel components and structures.
Read and interpret drawings, measurements and job specifications.
Carry out MIG/TIG welding and general fabrication duties to a high standard.
Use workshop equipment including grinders, drills, saws and hand tools.
Measure, cut, fit-up and assemble components accurately.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe working area.




Always follow workplace health and safety procedures.

About you
Previous experience as a Welder/Fabricator, Boilermaker or similar trade role.
Confident with MIG welding; TIG or stick welding experience would be an advantage.
Ability to read drawings and work from measurements.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Reliable, punctual and willing to work as part of a team.
Current driver licence preferred.
Trade qualification or relevant tickets highly regarded, but not essential for the right person.
